Can’t be more jealous of a cat sleeping so soundly on a rainy day.

A scene from NARI’S SUNDAY WALK WITH DADDY. Sometimes it’s fun to record how it progresses.

I’ve been away from color pencils for quite some time and finally got back to it again. It takes a pretty long time to finish up even a simple piece if I use color pencils, but I did feel very relieved and comfortable getting back to them. Feels like home. ;)

Drew some parts separately to fix a corner of the big drawing from CAT IN THE CITY. Happens all the time. Thank you, photoshop, I guess!

All I need to buy now is a jar of Kimchi.

All I need to buy now is a jar of Kimchi.

Stir-fry kimchi and serve it with sliced and lightly boiled tofu. One of the most popular anju (food to eat with alcoholic drinks) for soju (Korean vodka), but also works great as a simple, hearty meal. I can use one or two shots of soju with this now. ;)

Another easy recipe using Kimchi, especially for when it’s been sitting in the fridge for awhile and gone sour. (This actually goes same to the previous one, kimchi stew.)
Good thing about using kimchi to cook is that it’s already strongly seasoned, so you don’t really need to add anything for flavor. Just add ingredients, stir-fry, then voila! I will add a crushed dry seaweed on top of that. Yum!!!

One way to cook using Kimchi. Easy breezy. No more seasoning needed, just add everything into a pot and boil. Simplest recipe ever, but I haven’t had a better kimchi stew than my mom’s. :)
